KID Museum 2020-2021

 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning scholarships for kids of color in low-income neighborhoods in Washington DC  


Dimensions Sciences searched for partners with expertise in providing learning focused in STEM fields. 


We identified the KID Museum, a non-profit organization founded in 2011, to build a partnership providing financial assistance to low-income students, specifically students of color from underprivileged neighborhoods in the greater D.C.

2021 Together We Go Far

Dimensions Sciences is supporting scholarships for 30 students of color including Latinos and Black Americans to participate in a 3-week after school program with focus on STEM learning experience. The program is delivered by KID Museum educators in Equity Hubs, in the poorest neighborhoods of Washington, D.C. The KID Museum is currently serving about 200 students in Equity Hubs.

2020 Make it! Summer Camp

Dimensions Sciences provided scholarships for a virtual science summer camp covering camp costs and materials to students from low-income families in Washington DC. The scholarships were given with an emphasis on students from racial and ethnic backgrounds that are often underrepresented in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics  (STEM) fields. Children ages 7 to 14 are having fun and safely learning  important skills at home.
