The Bridges scholars receive a scholarship, mentoring and training. Selected candidates received a 3-month stipend and gain access to Dimensions Sciences advice, coaching, training, and support. The 2023 class performed research in the areas of life sciences, health sciences, and exact (hard) sciences with a focus on the Amazon Rainforest.
Benefitting inclusion of women in science and promoting international research exchange between the US and Brazil, the ScientistA award is showcasing female scientists from Brazil performing postdoctoral or industry equivalent research in the United States, focused on the life sciences or medical sciences.
Honoring selected doctoral theses focused on innovation and entrepreneurship produced by women in biotechnology in Brazil.
