Dimensions Sciences (DS) is committed to advancing merit-based opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by expanding access to scholarships, training, life and career coaching, mentorship, and peer-support networks. Our work aims to increase opportunity and capacity for scientists to succeed across four sectors: academia, public service, nonprofit organizations, and industry.

Dimensions Sciences (DS) Bridges program supports Brazilian scientists in science and technology through direct investment in scientific communication training and career development. The initiative provides financial support and strategic resources that reduce barriers and expand academic and professional growth opportunities.
With donor support, the program helps build a new generation of scientists prepared to operate in global environments, generate social impact, and transform knowledge into innovation. Each contribution strengthens career pathways, expands horizons, and connects Brazilian talent to international opportunities.
The ScientistA Award recognizes and rewards outstanding achievements by women scientists in STEM, with a focus on research conducted in the United States. The award celebrates excellence, innovation, and female leadership in science, increasing the visibility of inspiring scientific careers that advance knowledge and benefit society.
Donor support is critical to sustaining this recognition and encouraging more women to pursue and remain in scientific careers. By investing in the ScientistA Award, donors directly contribute to visibility, credibility, and new opportunities for scientists at the forefront of transformative discoveries—helping build a more diverse, innovative, and global scientific ecosystem.
The New Dimension Award supports innovative projects and research led by early-career Brazilian women scientists, with a special focus on biotechnology and innovation in Brazil. The award recognizes scientific potential and promotes high-impact research that contributes to national scientific and technological development.
Established through a partnership with the prestigious CAPES Thesis Award, the New Dimension Award marked, in 2020, the creation of an unprecedented category recognizing the best doctoral thesis in biotechnology authored by a Brazilian woman with high innovation potential. Sponsored by Dimensions Sciences, the award depends on donor support to strengthen emerging careers and invest in the next generation of women scientific leaders.
The Leadership Coaching Program provides personalized support for early-career scientists, strengthening leadership skills, professional clarity, and confidence during career transitions. Integrated into initiatives such as DS Bridges and available to ScientistA and New Dimension Award recipients, the program includes structured virtual experiences that promote professional growth and global connection.
